    Are you looking for something to keep your children engaged and learning over the summer?

    This three week program is designed to provide innovative, unique, and enriching learning experiences.

    • Each week campers will be provided with a kit of materials.
    • The kits will be accompanied with 1 hour of live virtual instruction through Google Meets daily between 1-3pm.
    • The only requirement is access to a technology device with wifi capability (examples: phone, iPad, Chromebook, laptop, etc.).
    • Enrollment is open to all SCM students.

  • DATES 
    (Monday-Friday each week)

    • Week 1: July 13-17
    • Week 2: July 20-24
    • Week 3: July 27-31

  • COST
    The cost for each week is $15*
    *If a student is on free or reduced lunch, there is no cost.

    • Students will keep the materials in the kits provided each week.
    • Kits need to be picked up each week and payment is due at that time.
      (Cash or check payable to School City of Mishawaka)

  • KIT PICK-UP

    • Location: All Virtual Camp Kit pick-up has been moved to the SCM Administrative Center: 1402 S. Main Street, Mishawaka (entrance located in the south parking lot of Emmons Elementary School)
    • When: All camps may begin pick-up of kits Tuesday, July 14 from 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

  • VIRTUAL SUMMER CAMP OFFERINGS
    You can select 1 camp per week for your child.
    Registration deadline is June 19, 2020.
    NOTE: Grades are based on the grade your child will be in for the 2020-2021 school year.

    WEEK 1: JULY 13-17

    • Option 1: Active Inspirations (grades 1-8)
      Active Inspirations provides a safe, thriving environment for students to explore personal interests, build self-esteem, develop interpersonal skills, discover the creativity and health benefits of physical activity, and explore a variety of sports games.

    • Option 2: Nature and Animal Explorations (grades 4-8)
      Engage in virtual field trips to meet and learn about physical and behavioral adaptations of different animals and nature.

    WEEK 2: JULY 20-24

    • Option 1: Unique Celebrations (grades 1-6)
      Celebrate a holiday for each day of the week! Learn about holidays around the world with hands on activities.

    • Option 2: Nature and Animal Explorations (grades 4-8)
      NOTE: SAME AS WEEK 1, DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS CAMP TWICE
      Engage in virtual field trips to meet and learn about physical and behavioral adaptations of different animals and nature.

    WEEK 3: JULY 27-31

    • Option 1: Unique Celebrations (grades 1-6)
      NOTE: SAME AS WEEK 2, DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS CAMP TWICE
      Celebrate a holiday for each day of the week! Learn about holidays around the world with hands on activities.

    • Option 2: Theatre Arts (grades 4-8)
      This adventure is a fun, high-eneregy program that allows students to fully engage their imaginations as they experience the thrill of creating live theatre. From learning basic techniques of acting for the stage, to developing improvisation and physical comedy skills, to putting it all together in a public performance, it's an experience your child will never forget.
