World Languages

The Mishawaka High School World Language Department strives to prepare our students for their roles as global citizens by developing proficiency in another language and an awareness of other cultures.  In our language classes, students discuss the many reasons for learning languages and develop an understanding of the people who speak them.  Mishawaka students experience the opportunity to learn languages by participating in conversations, practicing vocabulary and learning grammatical structures in a communicative manner.  Our students join language clubs, language honor societies and travel.
