School Textbook Fees

Indiana House Bill 1216 requires each public school to provide curricular materials at no cost to each student enrolled in the public school. This bill took effect July 1, 2023 and established the curricular materials fund to
provide state advancements for costs incurred by public schools in providing curricular materials to students at no cost.This means you will not be charged for textbook fees this year. Please note that you may see textbook fees listed in your child’s Skyward account. Those are needed in order for us to report the cost of the fees to the State. Please contact your child’s school with any questions.
