    Good evening SCM families,

    We are excited to welcome back all of our students and staff tomorrow, January 6, 2022, for the start of second semester. As a reminder, school hours are as follows:

    • Elementary Schools: 8:15 AM - 3:00 PM
    • John Young Middle School: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
    • Mishawaka High School: 8:00 AM - 3:10 PM

    During break, you might have heard that the CDC made some new recommendations around the isolation and quarantine period for COVID-19. The following guidance is for schools:

    BOOSTER UPDATE:
    The CDC has expanded eligibility of the Pfizer booster to anyone ages 12 and up. Additionally, the Pfizer and Moderna booster can now be administered 5 months after receiving the second dose.

    The above guidelines can also be found on the CDC website. Please remember that we are held to the requirements of these guidelines.

    COVID VACCINE AND BOOSTER CLINIC:
    School City of Mishawaka, in partnership with Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center, is offering anyone age 5 and up an opportunity to receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccination (first and second dose) or booster shot.
