SCM Parameters on Naming Rights, Corporation Sponsorships, and Benefactor Gifts
Team Leader: Dr. A. Dean Speicher- Board actions and announcements will be made throughout 2017–2018
- Sub-group: Administrative Guidelines for Policy No. 7250.1 Naming Rights, Sponsorships, and Donor Gifts

Property and Casualty Insurance Analysis and Bid
Team Leader: Dr. Bruce Stahly- This work group has completed their work with a recommendation to the School Board on February 23, 2016 with a savings of approximately $150,000 annually
Health, Vision, Dental, Life, AD&D and Disability Insurance Analysis
Team Leader: Dr. Bruce Stahly- Group Alternatives completed analysis and re-quoting in August 2016
- Insurance Committee has worked with the Horton Group to improve employee benefits by adding Live Health and Smart Shoppers
- Dr. Speicher and Dr. Stahly will be bringing three prospective insurance agents of record to a leader ad hoc group to select one who will lead SCM through a process of building a plan, discussion and negotiations in arriving at a model of health care delivery that significantly improves the quantity and quality of healthcare and related benefits for SCM stakeholders
High Priority Facility Needs
Team Leaders: Dr. A. Dean Speicher and Dr. Bruce Stahly- Community engagement process will continue into 2017
- Next meeting: December 2016
- The work group will operate at two levels:
- A small group will screen the A/E RFQs down to 3–4 firms
- Work group will listen to and evaluate presentations and take their recommendation to the School Board on January 10, 2017
- This initiative is able to move forward due to the passing of the Capital Referendum in November 2016
SCM Safety and Security (Threat) Assessment
Team Leaders: Dr. Theodore Stevens and Lt. Tim Williams- Threat Assessment findings were taken under advisement by the School Board on April 22, 2016
- The issues will be addressed through the architectural/engineering work in January 2017
- This initiative is able to move forward due to the passing of the Capital Referendum in November 2016
Legislative Remedy Strategy
Team Leader: Mike Wojtysiak- A meeting with key Legislative Leaders will take place in December 2016
Corporate-Wide Wireless Installation
Team Leaders: Eric Johnson and Chris Mabie- Phase I: complete
- Phase II: 2017 and beyond
